Thredbo Has Fresh Snow & Flexi Pass Sale

A cold front swept through Thredbo overnight dropping 20cm's of fresh snow across the mountain and dusting 5cm's in the village. 

Very cold temperatures also saw snowmaking fire up complementing the natural falls, with snow made around the Cruiser and High Noon areas.  The outlook is for very cold temperatures right throughout the week so the mountain team anticipate a solid week of snowmaking. With the ski season kicking off June 10, snow lovers across the country are getting excited. Here is a little sneak peek at some product testing today.

To welcome winter and the pre-season snowfalls, Thredbo today announced a 4 Day Flexi Pass Sale, giving skiers and boarders the freedom and flexibility to choose any four days of the season to hit the slopes and save over $150. The pass is $349 for adults, a saving of $151, with under 18's pass $209, a saving of $75. Offer ends midnight Friday.

Thredbo is prepped and ready for winter, kicking off June 10 the Opening Weekend celebrations promise to start Thredbo's 60th anniversary season off in style with a big line-up of entertainment, activities and parties. 

Boasting the biggest line-up of long weekend music ever with five hours of non-stop tunes in the outdoor Village Square. Headlining is rising pop powerhouse Montaigne, her album Glorious Heights debuted at #4 on the ARIA charts and went on to pick up the ARIA award for Breakthrough artist. Her exquisite vocals with an 80's influence are set to fire up the Thredbo crowd.

The region's biggest fireworks display will light up Kosciuszko with big booms and masses of colour.  The king of carving Kenji Ogawa, tunes up his chisel and fires up the chainsaw to create an icy village sculpture that becomes the centrepiece of the popular GH Mumm Village Long Lunch.
